Leche is a 5 piece outfit from the greater Los Angeles area. They have been gigging in and out of LA proper and making crowds dance with their Tropical Latin Funk stylings and their psychedelic Cumbia rhythms.
Incorporating sounds from Jazz, blending in the Funk and touching everything off with some Latin seasoning. This is the LECHE recipe.
El Samurai, originally performed in 1976, Hidden amongst Rumba and Flamenco tracks on a private press EP from Spain, El Samurai is a beast of a track.
This was the perfect tune for LECHE, their a tight knit cast of players. The drum break is ridiculous, the chorus is hypnotizing, percussion is on point, the horns are bouncing off of each other and you can’t help but groove along to EL Samurai. B side is Goliath, this Jazz Funk instrumental track starts off with pounding horns and drums and grooves into a guitar and saxophone get down.
